When can the Precious Saffron Oil be used? It is better to use in your PM routine, but can be used in your AM routine as well. 

Does it leave a thick, sticky residue? No, our Precious Saffron Oil has a lightweight texture that doesn’t leave you with a sticky or tacky residue. We use 40% kumkumadi taila (Saffron Oil), and thin the oil with clean ingredients such as Caprylic Capric Triglyceride and Heptyl Undecylenate that also help with better absorption and penetration of the saffron oil, without the sticky oily feeling. 

Does it work for all skin types? Our Precious Saffron Oil is perfect for those with normal to dry skin (always patch test). However, it does work for some oily skin types as well, as it helps regulate excess oil production.

What products can I pair the facial oil with? With Dearist Pure Rose Water: We always recommend to use our Precious Saffron Oil on damp skin, so it is recommended to spray rose water before application. 

With Dearist Aloe Vera Gel: Feel free to add 2-3 drops in your palms with Aloe Vera Gel, or layer on 2-3 drops after applying Aloe Vera Gel.

With Dearist Sea Buckthorn Berry and Calendula Oil: Add 1 drop of Seabuckthorn Berry and Calendula Oil with precious saffron oil for intense hydration - it will further work on reducing pigmentation, evening out skin tone, and overall give a better skin texture.

Can I use Precious Saffron Oil with actives? We do not recommend using our Precious Saffron Oil with active ingredients at the same time. It is better to use them at different timings. 

How often should I be using the Precious Saffron Oil? It can be used daily in your skin care routine. If you are using other active ingredients or skin care products, use Precious Saffron Oil at least twice a week.

Why have we added Caprylic Capric Triglyceride and Heptyl Undecylenate? By itself, kumkumadi taila can sit on the surface of the skin and make it feel heavy and greasy, especially in tropical humid climates. Caprylic Capric Triglyceride and Heptyl Undecylenate are super smooth non-comedogenic (non clogging) clean ingredients that help lock in moisture without leaving the skin oil. This facilitates improved absorption and deeper penetration of the Precious Saffron Oil, delivering its full range of benefits to the skin

Is Precious Saffron Oil safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding? All our products are formulated with safety in mind for children and pregnancy, and post partum. However we always recommended consulting with your healthcare provider and dermatologist. Individual reactions may vary. Additionally, we advise conducting a patch test before widespread use to rule out any potential sensitivities or allergies.
